Research Interest
In short: synthesis and characterization of coordination polymers (mainly metal-organic frameworks) using post-transition metals, in combination with linker molecules from biological systems. The methods of choice usually consist of X-ray diffraction (powder and single crystal) as well as electrondiffraction (making it possible to study microcrystalline samples).
We also work with in-situ studies of catalytic processes and crystallization studies, using diffraction and/or X-ray absorption studies.
