The objective of this project is to establish a fundamental understanding of the mass transport processes activated by external electric/magnetic fields and laser/electron beam irradiations, respectively. The project has a true interdisciplinary character that calls for close collaborations between researchers with different competencies. The high potential for developing new sintered materials and components for emerging technologies links the research topics covered by this project to many fields of science and engineering.
